Windows Versions

Windows is an operating system for a computer made by Microsoft. It is the new version from MS-DOS that was produced in the 1985. Unlike the MS-DOS, this new system allows the users to do multiple graphic applications. This system has been developed widely and it is having some versions.

There are some versions of this system. The first version is called Windows 1.0 or MS DOS Executive with some new applications such as notepad, calendar, calculator, clock, and control panel. The second version is Windows 2.0 that can be minimize and maximize and also completed by the Microsoft word and excel. The 3.0 version was released in 1990s. The next version is Windows 95 in 1995 and includes the internet explorer 2.0 in the package. It follows by Window 98 and Windows ME or 2000 which then becomes Windows XP.  The latest version is windows vista which was released in 2007. This new Windows version has been improved with the security system from the malware and viruses.

Windows has been widely used world wide for its user friendliness. But, this large usage has made Windows becomes an easy target for the new viruses. Although the new version has been completed with the security software, but the network it is less effective, because Windows is actually made for personal computer.

    hehehe..saye merasekan era MS-DOS..
    cuma ndak merasakan era windows 1 dan 2.. soalnye langsung loncat ke windows 3.10… dan selanjutnya terus mengikuti sampe XP SP3… Vista tak disentuh.. sepertinya tidak nyaman… liburan ini mau nyoba windows 7 :D
